The UK Prime Minister plans to press partner nations to provide Ukraine with additional extended-range weaponry to strike enemy locations during a meeting in the UK capital on the upcoming Friday.

Sir Keir is set to welcome Ukrainian President Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have committed to grant Kyiv defense assurances once hostilities pause is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been urging for an extended period for further extended-range systems from the West, an action that the Russian government has warned would intensify the hostilities.

President Zelensky is journeying from Brussels, where he met European representatives on yesterday requesting funding aid.
